Senior MEAN Stack Developer with AWS Experience

Here is a summary of the skills needed -

Ideal person would either have a good deal of experience directly / transferrable experience with the following PAAS offerings. This person will be the only developer on the project day-to-day, so they need to be very strong.

Must-have skills:

    • A+ Communication Skills / Client facing.
    • Experience managing production software.
    • Reliable and able to work independently.
    • Work schedule will be a partial overlap with US Central Time Zone (up to 10am or 11am daily).

    Stack / Technology:

    • MEAN - MongoDB, Angular, Express, and Node.js
    • Doesn’t need to be super strong on frontend (Angular) because the UI of the application is a very basic CRUD app and changes to UI will be relatively basic.
    • Must be very strong on backend (Node.js / Express) and MongoDB. Much of the work will be focused on database and data modeling.
    • Docker

    AWS:

    • Elastic Container Service - Fargate
    • VPC
    • S3
    • Cloudfront
    • Route53
    • WAF
    • Elastic Container Registry
    • IAM
    • AWS Certificate Manager

    Nice-to-have Skills:

    Terraform / infrastructure as code.

    CI/CD pipelines.

    Definitely need someone who can:

    Embrace test-driven development as part of their process. Enabling code coverage will be a huge boon to the quality of the platform / ability to add features with confidence.
